Fort St. James Secondary School Sr. Girls Basketball Team
The Fort St. James Secondary School Sr. Girls Basketball Team attended Single A Girls Provincials in Kelowna BC in March, their first tournament in 2 years! “One of the highlights of attending the Single A Girls Provincials is meeting the other players and coaches… We also took the time to watch a couple of the Northside Christina games (Vanderhoof) and cheered them on. They also came and cheered for our team. This support and friendship between the teams is what these trips are all about”.

Liam Reidlinger
In mid-March Liam Reidlinger attended the BC Short Track Speed Skating Championship meet in Richmond BC on behalf of the Fort St. James Falcons Speed Skating Club. Liam was one of only five BC youth his age to qualify for the 2022 Canadian Short Track Championship West in Selkirk MB the last weekend of March! “…It was so interesting to see skaters from other provinces and watch their skating styles and learn from them. I had a lot of fun there, I have never been to Manitoba before so it was a great experience”.

Fort St. James Senior Secondary Sr. Boys Basketball Team
The Fort St. James Senior Secondary Sr. Boys Basketball Team attended Single A Boys Provincials in Langley BC, their first tournament in 2 years! “One of the highlights of attending the Single A Boys Provincials was meeting the other players and coaches. The boy’s tournament is played at Langley Events Centre at the same time as the other tiers. We were able to see some of the bigger schools in action and we took some time to cheer on the other teams from our North Central Zone”.
