Corks & Kegs 2024 fundraiser

  • Fort St. James National Historic Site 280 Kwah Road West BC, V0J 1P0 Canada (map)

The Fort St. James Community Foundation acknowledges that the Corks & Kegs fundraiser event takes place on the traditional and unceded territory territory that since time immemorial has been home to Nak'azdli Whut'en.

About Corks & Kegs

Enjoy a summer Saturday with local craft beers, wines, food pairings and live music and a silent auction at the shore of Stuart Lake, while raising funds for the Fort St. James Community Foundation.

Last year, during our inaugural Corks & Kegs, we raised close to $28,000.00! The foundation would not be able to operate without the generous donations we receive from the people, businesses, and government in Fort St James and surrounding communities.

We love our community and we look forward to having you at our second Corks & Kegs Fundraiser as it allows us to continue supporting initiatives that strengthen our local economy, society, culture and ecology.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to further support our community foundation during the event with our famous Treasure Chest, silent auction and our new 50/50 draw.

Tickets

Tickets for Corks & Kegs will be available on Wednesday, June 19 2024. Follow our Facebook event page for the latest event updates. All attendees MUST be 19 or older.

Tickets are $75. You can buy them online at Eventbrite (note there will be a $6.21 fee added for online ticket buyers) or in town at Northland Automotive & Industrial (335 Stuart Dr W, Fort St James) or the Window Box (439 Stuart Dr, Fort St James).

Live music

Enjoy good vibes and tunes with amazing local live music performances at the event.

Singer/songwriter and local favourite Sam Holden will bring a musical homage to his former hometown of Fort St. James.

The Kickers from Prince George are returning to Corks and Kegs with some good old country & classic rock.

Beers and wines

We’re excited to have beer and wine offerings from our favourite local breweries and wineries from across British Columbia

Food

We're bringing the best local chefs to Corks & Kegs 2024: enjoy MarLea's famous bannocks and authentic Mexican tacos from Los Primos!

Sponsorship

Made possible by our amazing sponsors:

Interested in participating as a vendor or sponsor?

We’re looking for local business partners, large and small, to help us make the annual Corks & Kegs a success through financial and material donations in a variety of different areas.

Check out the sponsor opportunities below and contact us at fsjcf.info@gmail.com

Event Partner - $15,000

As our event partner, your company logo will be displayed on all promotional materials for the event, including signage, tasting cards, social media posts and media releases, and added to our website as a partner for 2023.

We invite you to send a delegate to receive thanks on stage during the event, as well as a premium package featuring the many breweries, wineries and distilleries represented at the fundraiser.

Booth Sponsor - $2,000

As our booth sponsor, you’re helping us to bring northern drinks to our tasting event. Your company logo will be featured on one of the many tasting booths that will be paired with a Northern BC brewery, winery or distillery. In addition, you’ll receive a thank you basket featuring swag from our foundation and the booth you sponsored.

We invite you to send ‘pourers’ for the booth to represent your company. If you don’t have any delegates to be present at the fundraiser, we’ll work with our network of local volunteers to man the booth.

Silent Auction - $250 (min. amount)

As our silent auction sponsor, you’re donating an item or gift package that will be available to all attendees for bidding during our tasting event. Your company logo will be displayed with your silent auction item and will be announced at the main stage as the auction items are awarded.

We invite you to use the theme of Fort St James and beer, wine, or spirits for silent auction items. We’re also happy to connect you to one of our breweries, wineries or distilleries, or local vendors if you’re feeling less creative but still want to contribute.
