You can apply for an Ambassador Grant if you’re invited to attend a regional, provincial or national competition, workshop or program due to excellence in an academic subject, the arts, sport, recreation or community initiative.
In order to be eligible for an Ambassador Grant, you must be attending school full-time at any of the following schools:
David Hoy Elementary
Nakalbun Elementary
Eugene Joseph Elementary
Fort St. James Senior Secondary
Jean Marie Joseph School
Nakalbun Elementary
Nus Wadeezulh Community School
Our Ambassador Grants are maximum $500 and need to be used to help you with costs associated with your attendance at the event.
This grant is made possible through the Ingrid Gerke Legacy for Youth.
Our Ambassador Grants are available at any time during the calendar year.
Make sure to submit your to submit your application for an Ambassador Grant as soon as you have confirmation or an invite to attend the competition, workshop or program. Applications will not be accepted after attending the event.

As an Ambassador Grant recipient, you need to provide a report to the Fort St. James Community Foundation about your event experience withing 30 days of returning from the event.
